Maybe because this is folk metal with some black metal peppered in, but I wouldn't call Moonsorrow a black metal band.

idk this one sounds quite black-metally, their earlier stuff not so much. Of course it isn't pure BM i.e. like the traditional Norwegian 2nd wave stuff... which is indeed a reason I enjoy this more.
