"Useless nu-metal crap that should be avioded at all costs."
Although I can see why you said this, I completely disagree. This isn't in the vein of Korn or Linkin Part at all IMO. Songs like "Know Forever" and "Severed" pretty much both break the nu-metal barrier so I really think this is a monumental record for nu metal

This is lightyears ahead of any kind of nu-metal, many of the songs being in more of the mathcore or prog metal vein. Quite glorious; I especially love the bass

The bass just blows my mind. Can't believe the lack of playing activity from Ryan since Mudvayne went dark.

If only Ryan was paired with a better guitarist, Greg is so meh.

I like that though. It lets Ryan shine

Gregg can actually play, but like Xing says, it lets Ryan shine and it gives this sound something a little different from everything else.

I really love the guitar here. It's heavy as fucking fucking fuck, and gets the job done hard.

Agreed though there are a few riffs that are straight shit and cringe inducing. Most of them are pretty sweet though and set a great backdrop for the bass riffs
