Everyone talks about a band maturing, but that's not what I heard when I listened to this album. The sound of a band being comfortable where they are (mature or not) is infinitely preferable to the sound of an immature band trying to grow up (and failing miserably).

I can't say I don't like a few choice songs from this album, but looking back it really wasn't that impressive.

So yeah in pieces.....one of the best songs I ever heard in my life just sayin
reminds me so much of my world of warcraft days cause i had that song on repeat like all day playing WoW (vanilla wow, when it was still immersive)

Ehh, this album didn't affect me as much as Meteora did, it seems like this album just doesn't have that much emotion in it.
It does have good songwriting, but it just seems 14 year old emo / political now.

Sorry for the double post. But I came up with this after listening to the album again and just had to post it:
I listened to this album, I then regretted What I've Done, it was at this moment that I had Given Up on Linkin Park. But I kept my Hands Held High in hopes that they would recover after this hiccup of an album, sadly I was mistaken, as A Thousand Suns made me Wake Up and realize the talent in Linkin Park was In Pieces, I then gave the album away and started listening to Toxic Holocaust, at last, No More Sorrow.

Only a dum-dum would write such things. In The End, The Little Things Give You Away.

Just like the album cover looks, I'd say this band lost themselves on this album.
