The heavy riff in Anesthetize is really good. It amazing how the track swallows you in a concentration sense and 20 plus minutes feels like a much smaller frame of time.

I like to think that I would have enjoyed Porcupine Tree had I listened to them a few years ago but now when I try to get into them I'm just left unimpressed.

The title track is good. Lyrically it may be a bit goofy for some but I like how Wilson projects the evident problem with today's generation.

Yeah some of the lyrics are meh but the instrumentation and everything rules

The lyrics are cheesy and melodramatic. The lyrics are also from the perspective of an 11 year-old kid, and thus they work in context.

it's a 40-year-old man trying to take the perspective of an 11-year-old kid. like how does that not come off as incredibly stereotypical and awkward? especially considering that steven has never been a lyrical genius in the first place
