Jazz isn't really my thing, I mean I understand (but am not knowledgable of) its influence. But like insurrection, it's just not something i'm ever compelled to put on. I just like other music (you may say inferior but oh well) better. I do enjoy it in a live setting. You can't go anywhere without hearing it here in new orleans.

cause if you played sax in symphonic band you had to be in the jazz band and band was easy as hell so i wanted to stick with it. senior year i played drums in jazz band which was awesome though ngl
