My girlfriend's parents are coming to town that weekend... but I might have to sneak out that Sunday down to Denver haha. I missed SSTB, but IKSSE:3 kicked so much ass I don't think I can afford to miss this one.

I'm going to the Philly show. This is my favorite Coheed album, and I get to see the Dear Hunter too?! Goddamn, it's gonna be amazing.

It's probably gonna sell out fast, but I have off from work on Friday, so I can be ready to go as soon as they go on sale.

I'll move the knife to show you of my cut

With the worst of truth from here

I drew no blood

So you're not as real as what I thought up

You're just a page I'll burn from a book

That has nothing to show

Of that once little boy we used to know

Am I killing you?

Holy shit, I'm so hyped, and the show is 4 months away, haha.

Lying Lies is top 5 Coheed for me. I'd love to see this album performed live but I would have to drive 6-8 hours for the nearest show.

Damn man, that sucks. I thought I was gonna have to drive 4 hours to get to the nearest one for me, but I guess I glazed over the Philly one. 2.5 hours isn't too bad, and the venue it's at is really nice, I've seen Coheed there before.

Something, a hope of mine if you will, is that this tour will bring forth some inspiration for Claudio. Hopefully he goes back to his angrier, proggier material and brings those elements to the new album. He did state it was going to be a prog album and that it was going to return to the concept.

But one can only hope...

I hope so. I think TCBtS was okay, but very average, especially for Coheed. However, I also think it was a case of Claudio needing to get it out of his system. Hopefully that, in combination with this tour, will give them some inspiration for a prog album on part with this and the prior 2 albums.

I agree with what you said about "getting it out of his system". He seemed burned out following The Afterman. I just hope that making another album like this is authentic and not forced to please the fans.
