that's because it is better, if only slightly. there's not one song on Diamond Eyes as good as Deathblow or Battle Axe, but DE might be a tad more consistent (i.e. nothing as bad as Lucky You).

Bloody Cape is my favourite off that

the ending of Bloody Cape and the beginning of Hexagram are definitely two of the coolest moments on the album. also, that epic middle section in When Girls Telephone Boys.



I think the self-titled takes the most repeat listens to fully appreciate out of their entire disco
