it has been stated in here a few times already, but legitimately good teams know how to win no matter how messy or concise it is. that is what makes the difference between a team built for a playoff run and a team that just stumbles their way into the lion's den.

exactly. this has been like the second half of Darnold's season so far, nothing super flashy but if they win, who cares?

usually it's coaching and reid is an all timer. look at my team the jaguars. they have lost a ridiculous amount of one score games in this nightmare of a losing period since they went 8-3 to start last year. 10 one score losses in 18 total games. 3-15 overall. it's coaching, most nfl teams aren't far off on talent. good teams find a way to win and bad teams find a way to lose is always a true adage.

the current chiefs offense would literally not function without mahomes and its clear as day watching them. this is easily the hardest he's ever had to carry the team.
