Damn I dig understanding decay, I’d take it over nothing’s funny and magic that I held you prisoner. Agreed on the closer and instrumental though.

First 2 tracks are the only ones I listen to usually.

This was my first Dillinger album. I liked it at the time, needs a refresher. Sometimes I randomly get the title track stuck in my head, so that's nice

This is decent, but I’m not feeling it all that much. Just feels kinda bland in a way. Might even be a 3 for me, I’ve listened 3 times so maybe it’s a grower. Def has some great tracks though no doubt.

I think you’ll really dig Dissociation Larkin

I probably wouldn’t have liked this record so much if it weren’t the first I ever heard of this band.

Yeah that’s the one I’ve been looking forward to the most for some reason tbh.

It’s not even close. I’m amazed that they released what I think is their best album right after their worst.

(Three years later technically, but in terms of discog)

Dissociation and this are kinda equal imo, both are the most by-numbers Dillinger. Highs and lows on this are better and worse, respectively

Dissociation got about 100 degrees of creativity on this (given that it’s Dillinger and they’re always fucking around and nothing sounds like Crossburner)

Dissociation sounds way more by the numbers than this for me minus a few parts, this has incredible hooks all the way through and did an 'accessible' version of Dillinger very well.
