"radically" is a strong word you're using I think. In overall feel and composition they're basically twins in the vacuum of a Periphery ballad.

I always loved Satellites and Sentient Glow, but I am one of the guys who loves P4 and nothing else except for a few individual songs

i mean i don't disagree that they are in conversation with eachother... but i'm gonna need someone to timestamp where the riffs, breakdowns, and harsh vox are in lune. not liking the song is one thing but the "retread" take just feels extremely lazy (not to single out tundra in particular, i see that take pretty frequently)

don't think it's a retread but def easy to compare lengthy ballad-y closers on two consecutive albums. absolomb is prob a better comp and i think that clears satellites.

if you were to listen to Lune and then Satellites right after, the similarities in song structure become pretty clear, outside of the contexts of each album. hell I'd even compare both of them to Masamune. Thanks Nobuo is no exception.

Yea, it's been a while since I listened to Juggernaut, but it never really clicked with me. Take Priestess for example. On paper it's a beautiful song, but that's guitar melody in the intro doesn't sound half as good as it's hard to play. It moves so fast and there is hardly a motif that sticks in my mind.

I like Heavy Heart and Alpha though and I remember liking stuff on Omega. But I never want to jam Juggernaut as a whole

Checked Juggernaut again. Yea, my opinion didn't really change, but I had more fun with Omega than I remembered. Second best album of theirs!

Honestly, when they don't go for catchy choruses, the songs just do stuff that doesn't have much impact on me and hardly feels like dynamic songwriting. So yea, definetly not for me. I am also burned out on prog, so that doesn't help either

Yea, Stranger Things is pretty good, a nice closer

Alpha used to be reason I didn't like Jug when it first dropped but man did it grow on me (that's what she said)
