I don't mind his vocals, but on Rust in Peace specifically, I actually like Dawn Patrol. I don't like the title track (the lyrics and vocals on that are cringy), and I also don't like "Poison Was the Cure".

It's pretty rare for a rock band to not write their own lyrics, but any pop artist you listen to hires songwriters for at least some of their songs.
