So ignore the reason why I wouldn't? Fine. I still wouldn't enjoy it as much.
Side note: it's partly because of Erase Me that I was able to go back and revisit other records from this band after not really being sold at first.

So if an artist you previously didnt like made Erase Me, you wouldn't enjoy it. Makes sense.
Still, kind of makes you a giant hypocrite but whatever.

Wait Bloc commented on an Underoath thread and it wasn’t an Aaron fat joke. What is happening.

That's why the qualifier matters though, Pit? With music, it's not always the idea itself that matters, but more so the execution of said idea. Good ideas can suck if the execution fails.

And thank you for proving my point.

So Underoath just failed at execution? Because on paper, I fail to see how an atmospheric industrial track like "No Frame" is just inherently doomed from the get-go.

man it's always so cool when mason derails a thread because he needs to defend every take he has to the grave

it's always so cool when people overexaggerate the ever-loving shit out of their complaints about an album just because they're disappointed in the direction a band is going. it's okay to admit you find some redeeming qualities in a record you're not hot on. No need to plug your ears and go "LA LA LA LA LA LA LA LA LA" whenever it doesn't completely meet your insane standards.

"it's also okay to admit that something you like isn't infallible." I've literally been criticizing parts of the record that I think don't meet MY standards during my defense, are you blind?

As for Steak, it has fuck all to do with ratings. That doesnt mean shit if the general response is bumping the thread for the album every two weeks to be like "can't believe how BAD this is" when the worst crime it has is being a bit bland at times lol.

that shit thread didn't get bumped for like months before you came back you ugly cretin

Not to mention, I think a lot of Underoath fans have implemented historical revisionism to preserve how they view the band. "Erase Me? What is that? That doesn't exist" type shit so no wonder the thread died.
Also I left in April last year, you're literally forgetting about a good six months between then and the death of the thread. I was not the one keeping the thread alive for MONTHS.
