But you're the one that brought the first song up. You brought up a random song that YOU think is terrible to try to compare against an album that OTHER people think is terrible and tried to put them on the same field, as if your distaste for the former has anything to do with other people's distaste for the latter. It doesn't. Weird ass argument to try to make. Just because Pit agreed that they both suck doesn't mean you had an approach that makes sense.
Whatever reasons you have for hating that song or the album that you have mentioned multiple times now has literally nothing to do with why people feel the way that they do about Erase Me. BECAUSE TASTES. How do you not understand this? This entire debate can be put to bed with "because opinions." But you insist on getting butthurt and demanding a stronger argument, which is fucking insane. It's music. People like what they like and hate what they hate.
Worst user.

In my opinion, yes, they are. Lol why can't you understand that??

I genuinely believe most people need to put into perspective how truly "terrible" an album/song they dislike is. There MUST be a distinction between something like Erase Me and something like...well...anything Etienne Sin or BOTDF has put out. Erase Me's worst crime is being a little bland and undeveloped in spots.

Why are you so fucking obsessed with this?
|
| |
Terrible is terrible, regardless of who makes it

In fact, let me pose this question: what would you think of this album if Etienne Sin made this record instead of Underoath? Would you have even given it a chance?

Do you even like anything that isn't 100% acclaimed by this nerdy-ass site? As for that, Etienne Sin doesn't even have a tenth of the talent these guys have, so it'd probably have fallen flat on its face when done by him. I gave Etienne a chance, after all.
|
| |
Yeah, actually, I do, but i don't feel the need to validate myself lol
|
| |
That doesn't answer my question: if he made this album, would your opinion be the same as it is now? Simple question, bud

No it wouldn't, because his execution of the elements presented here would be far inferior due to his lack of ability comparatively. Would your opinion of Relationship of Command be the same if it was performed by Underoath and not At the Drive-In? Since you clearly see them on two different playing fields, quality-wise.
|
| |
Stop dancing around the point. The question is if Etienne Sin made this exact album, would your opinion be the same?
|
| |
I dont see them on different planes. I love Underoath just not the dog shit that is Erase Me

I already answered your question. No. No it wouldn't. Etienne does not have the talent to pull this album off.
|
| |
Omg nevermind. You will continue to not answer the fucking question without a qualifier lol. Sad

this is a thread

No, you didn't lol. I don't give a fuck if he has the potential to make the album or not, I asked you simply if he made Erase Me, would you enjoy it, regardless of his potential? It's not that hard, ya dunce.

Probably not. The "qualifier" is exactly WHY I wouldn't.
