But for real, that Bleak riff is one of the best ever made.

It’s heavy as hell.
Band changed my life and I doubt I’d be listening to half the artists I am now if it weren’t for Opeth.

Opeth opened the death/black metal door for me, and Dream Theater opened the prog one

Kaiwaz, that's a very thorough recollection. You started off listening to some pretty good bands dude. I'd say the 70s might be the most interesting musical era

Bleak is awesome, I have never liked Wilsons' vocals on it though.

"The outro to the title track ...holy moly ..." [123456] One of my fave moments in music.
"Bleak is awesome, I have never liked Wilsons' vocals on it though."
Finally! Feel the same way completely man. He annoys me.

Eh, I love Bleak, it's the perfect way to follow up Leper Affinity IMO.

Trifolium, I'm not the biggest Wilson fan so I never took to his vocals on the song.
Can't knock him as a musician though.

Agreed completely man! Felt I was the only one who thought that around here. Never liked his vocals, which I've always felt was a pity because his music's really cool.

To be honest I still don't know where exactly Wilson appears on Bleak.
