This album it's impenetrable to me so far and i've gave it several spins, too much happening at the same time, it's like they have many ideas and throw them all together with no clear direction

Sounds like me you're just not accustomed to disso-death tbh
Because in terms of "ideas" their sound remains focused on just a few key ingredients and there's definitely a direction they're taking
It's not Zeal & Ardor where some black metal is followed by a piece of gospel smack in the middle

That could be why, for reference, i listened to Gorguts before but i wasn't impressed, sounds technical and complex but it didn't click, this style feels overcompensated to me

Well, honestly, it's the style
Gorguts wouldn't be Gorguts without doing what they do and Ulcerate wouldn't be Ulcerate without doing what they do
If you don't feel it, this thing just isn't for you and there's two roads you can take: either you're intrigued enough to give them more tries to see if it suddenly clicks or you just move on from this sound altogether
