and just when you've thought you've seen it all in this threat, it still manages to surprise you. This threat surely went places

Yeah, didn't like this at all at first. Compared it with mushed veggies in a jar baby food. But it grew on me a lot when I checked it some more times.
My mindset changed too though. I had to cope with them not doing something else but sticking to the same riffs and time-signatures, but focussing more on trance inducing and spread-out, flowing tracks.

Maybe after 30-ish years as a band they decided that this was simply the style they enjoyed playing the most.

Yeah. I’m somewhat a fan of this band. Part of it is nostalgia/history. Been listening to them since 6th grade. I’m 37 now.



Tool and NIN are really the first two bands to make the biggest impression on me.
