Only three tracks are interludes, and they're only a few minutes each while the four real songs are 9 minutes or longer

Either way, it is a large portion.

3/7 tracks is damn near half.

I like all the interludes. 'Irresistible' is the best but all three are decent at least. The other two aren't the best post-rock-ish songs ever but they break up the album fairly well.

Going strictly by time (since going by # of tracks is silly):

23.96% of the album is interludes.

5.3% goes to the interlude that isn't filler

that leaves 18.6% of the album being fluff. Not bad, considering that long-winded black metal often

has long in/outros to its songs anyway.

The length of the filler tracks is not my concern. If they aren't up to par, it means that they disrupt the flow of the album.

It'd be a lot more solid without the interludes.

agreed about the interludes. they feel so tacked on in an attempt to be post-rocky or something. roads to judah was fine without em, this would have been too
