jesse was on gorilla tranquilizers or some shit when i saw them (this was probably 2007-ish). he was content to let the crowd do most of the singing. pretty sure the only thing he said all night was "thank you." it was embarrassing. probably the worst non-mastodon set i've ever sat through. thankfully i was mostly there to see thrice, who killed.
