admittedly i thought they were great when i was younger but tbh i was never into the whole "celtic punk" schtick, not even huge on The Pogues for instance
also the fact that every record they put out sounded identical

All that punk stuff, ska, pop, brass shite.
The yanks god bless em they don't half know how to rip the soul out of stuff they create and franchise the fuck out of it.

Dude seriously, I wouldn't be offering my thoughts on the album if I hadn't heard the thing.
Admittedly I haven't given it a lot of time but that's not to say I haven't listened to it and what I've heard is exactly what I've said.
When it comes to ska influenced bands nothing had cut it since the originators back in the day.
