It was a 5 the first time I heard it. I just gave to be petty from time to time

I checked my last.fm and it showed this album as my #1 most listened to album even though I was fairly certain it would be something from Motorpsycho, but apparently it was this by a mile so here we are with the 5.

I remember when this was a 4.5 avg, and then Brand New's Science Fiction came out and people were comparing it to this, so a bunch of salty BN fans downvoted it lol

Making note of those Fowl, thank you for putting me on! Another band I'm wondering why I've never heard of until now. Glad I made it to the party

None of their other records sound like this one but they’re pretty much a perfect band so you’re in for a treat. Everyone seems to have a different favorite too, so that should tell you something.

Jammed it 2 times in a row while walking through the Munch museum in Oslo, was a fantastic exprience with those gloomy expressionist paintings.

I was listening to this album a ton when I worked on a recent release (shameless plug). That doesn't mean it sounds anything like this masterpiece but the intentional effort to leave everything imperfect and embrace the faults in every part of the process is there. This album feels like it was written by a group of people who had no idea what they were doing, and every idea what they were doing at the same time. I enjoyed trying to capture that
