Jordan's post about the podcast Andy was planning on the history of the band, and how he helped Jordan through a lot of the feelings still there, was also really touching. ETID will never get back together I assume but hopefully the guys can privately reconcile, shit like this makes you remember whats truly important in life

I really hope someone picks up that idea and takes it on. Anything about the band would be nice now that time has passed.

Gonna put this on from the top on the way home, it’s been too long. I won’t make it till the end cause my commute isn’t that long, but I need to hear the end breakdowns of “A Colossal Wreck” and “AWOL” again.

Played it front to back today, tbh still my favorite by them even if I think it’s a little overstuffed. I don’t really think albums like this should be pushing an hour but I’m having trouble thinking of which songs I would cut.



Idk how hot of a take this is, but I think the first half + the last two songs is pretty substantially better than this middle-late album stretch. I think the record falls off a bit after Thing With Feathers and really picks up again with People Verses. I don’t think the dropoff is bad enough for me to drop my 5, but I still think that even after not listening to the thing for at least a year.

I'd easily drop "Planet Shit", "sexsexsex", and "We Go Together".
