"People don't talk about it, but it should be common sense that what Lacey did isn't as bad as 30 - 40 year old pedophiles trying to meet up and fuck 13 year olds, for example."

Other people have had it worse is a shitty thing to say to a victim. Technically true, but it never helps hearing that.

that’s why it’s so hard to argue with internet people, it’s technically true that there will always be someone who went through something worse

it’s also true that it will be a more sensitive subject for me so im at a disadvantage of getting fucked with

honestly whats the point of discussing this on sputnik

most people are just talking about it to feel smart or cause they think everyone needs to know what they think

the others don't give a shit and just troll

no point

I don't think there's necessary harm in a civilized discussion.

And if nobody ever spoke on any topic, life would go nowhere.

I agree that sputnikmusic isn't the place but you're the one getting triggered over a perfectly normal viewpoint

maybe with all the shit going on some people like a place they can retreat just talk about the music they love without getting dragged into some "state of western society" debates

nah it’s pretty fucking stupid to spend time comparing which type of child abuse is the best and which type is the worst

also lmao at still saying “triggered” in 2018

Hey guys, I’m „Brand new” here, (hehe), why are my favourite bands not saving? Whenever I type them in as I should be and press save it says it’s gucci but when I refresh they just disappear

True, but given the context this band has been placed in as of late, I think this sort of conversation is unavoidable.

The guy who pointed out the difference between the two levels of creep still said Jesse was a bad scumbag though. He didn't do the same as the Reddit fanboys who just randomly assumed he was innocent but keeping silent because he's just that humble and self-effacing of a Guy (yep, I actually read that)

It’s not like this album is bad all the sudden (it’s good) but hearing him say “hide ur daughteeeeeeers” is a lil creepy so I stay away from that song lol. Not really my fav song lyrically anyway so I’m not worried
