An old friend of mine asked me to join his band as the drummer and I gladly accepted (My first band btw. Then he started telling me about how they are a rock band (This man used to worship Slash so like that type of Rock I'm assuming), and told me the heaviest stuff we will play is Falling in Reverse. After gaining this knowledge, I'm not really that sure if I actually want to do this. Someone please help me I don't know what to do.

@Pots I've never actually looked for bands to join, I just get asked to join a lot of times, and they all turn out to be the essentially the same thing. And yeah I have more of a problem playing covers then I do with playing mallcore, it just so happens to be both.
