you also named yourself after a (bad) Killer Mike line...
@gnarly Yeah I have good reason to be mentioning Ellay Khule, when most of this site is delusional kids who think Kendrick is a Rap God when hes just a biter with 0 substance, and Khule is basically THE originator of his style.
Look up Project Blowed and any related artist, he's biting LA's 'chopper style'

Tpab lacks some of the stupid shit that drags this down

this has sing about me (which is infinitely better than anything on tpab), sherane, and art of peer pressure (and the rest is awesome too, obvs). tpab has its songs too (u, i, mortal man), but none of its top players are as good as the stuff here. i also prefer the length of this lp. i can actually listen to this all in one sitting, whereas tpab seems to go on, and contains some filler songs - songs that aren't bad by any means, but are just kind of there. also it drives me nuts when he says 'boo-boo' and that other line 'get up and wash yo ass.' idk, i still love tpab, but i much prefer the grittier, darker atmosphere of this one, as well as some gorgeous melodies (bitch don't kill my vibe, sing about me)

Funny enough that institutionalized and hood politics are pretty much my favourite tracks on TPAB alongside wesley's theory and my least favourite are u, i and mortal man. Different strokes for different folks I guess.

damn, seriously? i i can understand, as it might seem out of place on the album, but u and mortal man? (not counting that boring dialogue at the end)
