"youre right HTTT is like that too, but you're wrong that none of this sounds like pre in rainbows thats just flat out fucktarded the beginning of daydreamer is straight out of kid a for instance and like half the tracks that flop a bit to the guitar driven side sound like HTTT shit "
I suppose you are right about the Daydreaming part, however when a guitar appears it's mostly used a la In Rainbows, not Ok Computer.

I dig that they attempted to combine the aesthetic of their acoustic/piano songs and their bleepy bloopy songs instead of having two really different groups of tracks, it does make the album seem a tad homogenous but it also has a lovely flow, I really don't know how to feel about it yet

Pots - Cohesive doesn't mean that every song on a 12 long song album flows 100% seamlessly. This just has an overarching atmosphere for me at least. There's little brittleness here and that's such a departure for Radiohead. Whether you like it or not is up to you.
King of Limbs take Feral, Magpie and Give Up the Ghost and I'm not getting a massive connection there.

Row's heard it ^
I personally don't think it'll end up homogenous in a negative way, just needs to grow

I do disagree with you though because TKOL was also cohesive as hell, that album built up and released tension amazingly, not sure which I prefer atm
|

the drums on burn the witch sound way bigger here than on the single

yeah well thats because you are completely out of your element with any kind of music thats even mildly outside the box. as soon as something is even remotely non-standard you think its avant garde free form experimental music and you get buttfuddled about it. so you dont really get to have an opinion about anything outside of the 'alt' bubble.

well you can try to alter your idea of what cohesive means for an album as much as you want but u still b wrong

This album's atmosphere most reminds me of the strings backing of 'Pyramid Song', they've never sounded less English than on this album and Yorke sounds zen as fuck

this is another one of those things that you say where i wonder why the fuck you say the shit you say

pots its all three, like one of those 80s music videos where they superimpose three images over one another and Thom's face is just hanging in the top left corner
