i don't think it can be overstated how surprised i am that i actually like Vessel bc everything about his vocal tone beyond the emotional affect sounds like something I'd normally dislike.

Yeah he is by far my biggest hangup. I remember not really minding his harsher vocals but god that clean singing is just so bad.
But honestly, I really don’t hate the band. I think this is totally a record that will get kids into heavier music.
