That's pretty much my opinion too, was listening to this while I cooked dinner tn...I do like it better than TPAB, much more consistent. I expect ppl will lower their ratings over time for the new album and it'll finish on par with this one.

nah i really don't think that's gonna happen. this is a great album but with obvious flaws and it really has nothing on TPaB, which will go down in history as the more obvious classic

This album was perfectly put together to appeal to both the mainstream and serious hip hop heads alike, and it does that pretty commendably. But what TPaB sets out to do and accomplishes very well is much more respectable and makes for a better album overall I think.
Honestly I pretty much accept gkmc for what it is and I can't imagine it being any different, but the commercial influence definitely seems forced in parts
