It was pretty groundbreaking 15 years ago. It’s still firmly one of the best post metal/core hybrids ever IMO, but it’s still just as ahead of its time as Knut was with Challenger. People are more content to push metalcore in the poppy direction for a paycheck than actually try to make nuanced music. Sux bros
