I completely agree. I think this is my favorite Converge album and I've had them all from Jane Doe on release date. This album is fucking immense!

Oh yeah..then it's flyin' way under my radar. Finding the instrumental part of the album getting catchier with plays, but I still can't get into these vocals, and I'm pretty tolerable to some awful vocals. Definitely going to give Axe to Fall a go based off this tho

The first five tracks really do nothing for me. Luckily it gets a lot better from there but this is easily Converge's weakest album. Not sure if I should lower this to a 3 or not.

Both are classic to me, but i can actually listen to this outside of the gym whereas Jane Doe is pretty much for gym purposes only.

It should really be the other way around... Jane Doe is a very personal, emotional album while this is more of an aggressive, angry album. Unless the gym makes you emotional.
