awesome man thanks. been listening to every hopesfall album yesterday today and tomorrow. I know I want to make an in depth article kind of list here on sputnik all based on Hopesfall. Haven't decided if I'm going to do a 5 album thing where I write a paragraph on all 5 albums or if I rank every hopesfall song with a sentence or three about each song. I would include The Frailty of Words and the EP and the early release version of Bird Flu and the Saskatchawan and the b side Untitled Track.

there are two b sides from Magnetic North and the second completely different version of Bird Flu. I don't think there's a b side for A Types. but there is a different version of Icarus I think

No the band was pissed. Saskatchewan was supposed to be in the middle of the album like between East of 1989 Battle of the Bay and Bird Flu. They submitted the album with it on there and when the album came out the song was gone from the album. Also, the early version of Bird Flu that came out was released by the label and put on their second big compilation release without the bands permission. They hated that version.

And then Trustkill issued a statement that the band is a bunch of druggies and didn't pay them after they already hadn't funded the bands tour. Then Hopesfall broke up.

The singer and guitarist had started a new band in 2013 called Sunflowers of Mayhem and had a youtube account with some songs being worked on in the studio but nothing ever came of it. Dunno what they're doing now but there are potential albums inside those people that if I had their street address I would be bothering them to make new music.
