The album may sound shitty but given the street, dirty atmosphere and the punkish, sometimes repetitive and noisy music it's only fitting that way. At least it sounds waaaaay better than the overproduced Pepper released the same year.

sgt is really overrated tbh. My fav's of 67' are The Doors, Forever Changes and Songs of Leonard Cohen. This and Piper are like tied. Still need to check Jimi Hendrix ^_^
