slaughter 2 is definitely a low point here. But i checked the original as homework before this dropped, and it was so lame that i was very worried. the sequel, all things considered, turned out pretty well, though it feels a bit shoe-horned here.



i wanted this to be a 5.0 sooo badly but it just didn’t get there. Am still very hyped to see what they do next

While I’m neither here nor there on his opinions, I think he really knocked out perfectly the description of the album. In that he said it’s more of a full album metalcore suite as opposed to a collection of songs. I’ve been trying to say that myself. You can’t really listen to just a song here or there. It’s way better as a whole front to back listen. Sit & Mourn is amazing but it just doesn’t hit as hard without the other 24 minutes. You really gotta give the whole thing a chance before really settling on an opinion. It’s been completely mind blowing for me. I’ve listened probably 10-11 times so far
