EP of the year and it wasn't a hard choice. This thing rules. Will be on my rotation for years.

Best thing they’ve ever done too imo, saw them open for Better Lovers, SYSC, and Foreign Hands, legit were the best band there that night.

This band should be so much more popular

This is probably one of my favorite EP's this year. Doesn't say much since I haven't listened to a lot of EPs in the first place, but it's still packed with absolute bangers. Keeps growing on me

Bumping up my rating cuz this is actually pretty dope. I think my initial perception of this band was skewed by the ETID comparisons to this band. I don't think they sound like them at all other than some off time riffs. There's way more focus on melody here in both the riffs/vocals and a more even balance with the heavier shit. Stoked to see where they go next w the upcoming LP.

I think the ETID similarities were more prominent in Empty Black, even though one can still argue there's the common southern sound, groove/riffs and even the vocals at some points

I hadn't heard anything prior to this but I should give that a spin soon. I hear like The Bled meets Protest the Hero (in the riffs) with their own spin on the vocals here personally

Is Sick and Lavish a better song than Gratitude (Foxing) is what I'm still debating

I think we'd be lucky to get a single this year, but I hope so too
