5 or 6 definitely ahead... Blonde Redhead, Hinako Omori, Liturgy, Kostnateni, Detalji and a live album, Skalpel
Ryuichi Sak, Eluvium, Jeromes Dream, Oxbow, couple of others are close
looking back it wasn't the most fruitful of years, but certainly one of the 'weirder' collections of select cuts for me personally

Any recommendation of albums sounding like this one ? (by any other band ?) Like smooth/dreamy/pop.

@DocBass, try late-era Cocteau Twins (e.g., Milk and Kisses), or something like Wild Nothing’s Gemini.

Is the slab the best slowdive song? I think so

Revisiting this for the first time in over 6 months and it's just got better with time.
And Kisses - after initial ambivalence it has evolved into one of my favourite songs of the decade. Shanty and The Slab not too far behind.

Funny at how I really did not like Skin in the Game when I first heard it and now I am obsessed with it. Anyway, this album is still as good as everything else in their discography (and better than Pygmalion and Just for a Day)

Unfortunately, I still don't get the appeal of this or why this gets so much praise.

They were in Birmingham, Alabama not long after this released. I saw them at our local brewery, which is where they played. Lol
