I agree that Nobody is the lone weak spot here. Really disliked it as a single and still don't like it. Matt's vocals sound atrocious on it.
Aside from that, I've had this entire thing on repeat for the past 24 hours. It's just so fun.
I get so hyped heading into the second half of Mattel and the second half of Cosmic. And on the back half of the album, Easier, G, and (O)rdinary are just treats to listen to.
Really feels like a band that threw every stereotype about them out the window and said, "Fuck it. We've been enjoying Daft Punk lately so let's try to incorporate some of that influence." And they honestly pulled it off. I would love to sit some pretentious music critic down and have them blindly listen to (O)rdinary, have them get all worked up over how good it is, and then tell them it's fucking Aveneged Sevenfold lmao.

I have to be honest on my first listen I was also playing Diablo IV so it didn't get my full undivided attention. Second listen Cosmic actually really stuck out to me and is probably my favorite. I tend to rate upon first listen and then adjust accordingly.

This will take a few spins before I can fully grasp it but I’m definitely enjoying it. I can’t help but laugh though. My older brother is big meathead who loved Avenged Sevenfold’s most generic outputs, so I fully expect him to rage and think it’s their worst album ever when he listens to it. He also tries to sell me on Five Finger Death Punch as the best band in modern rock music
