Were Possession Island written by anyone else you’d all be lapping it up like the fickle slags you are

Possession Island is a gem! Still really fond of this album, probably my favourite Gorillaz album funnily enough. Only song I don't *really* like is the opener, but I've heard worse.

I really like it as well mate, there’s a freshness to it that it you and I along with quite a few outside sput seem to appreciate.

This album is an amnesiac experience. Every time I visit it I leave remembering nothing about it and it all fades into indecipherable mush

The Bad Bunny track is actually pretty enjoyable on revisit tho, maybe because it isn't just Damon's boring ass voice?

I love Damon's voice more than many things on this earth

the problem with this isn't that it's just the will-this-do songwriting and collabs that sound like they were emailed in in a day (no-one involved in the making of New Gold was ever on the same continent I'd bet my next paycheck)

also Possession Island is boring as fuck lmao. Beck collab on Song Machine absolutely smokes it

Finally listened to it, very very very pleasantly surprised. I missed the original Gorillaz hype train so I have trouble trusting the "OG fanz" who just hate everything post-Plastic Beach.

I really like some of the stuff in Humanz and I'm still indifferent to everything in The Now Now. But always thought that they picked up the pace back up with Song Machine and I enjoy Cracker Island a little bit more, as I think it's a touch more focused.

Gorillaz is really consistent. The only album which I'd say is below average is The Fall.

Everything after Plastic Beach has just been hit or miss. Cracker Island is bad.

1) How is this album below a 3? That's actually wild.

"Cracker Island" IS BAD?!?!? IN WHAT WORLD?

2) "The Manifesto" is pretty sick.

1. it's actual trash
2. the instrumental is kind of good, i guess... But Trueno sucks ass. I speak spanish so it sucks even more to me.
