Shit Finch did tours in Japan i bet they were a big influence on them. Second song also reminds me of them. Digging it

Ive made it to Ink and now fully convinced Man With A Mission has made a career being a Japanese Finch worship band.

That's another top 3 track so good choice imo. Insomniatic Meat and Bitemarks and Bloodstains also standouts for me. Def going to spin this again after this thread reminded me how good it is.

This album has been fresh for me since it came out. Some serious staying power

Hopeless Host (second half is best part of the album), Miro, and Dreams of Psilocybin are my top 3 these days

Anyone listen to Marc Allen's band he did after Finch, Helen Earth Band? Some seriously fucking great post-hardcore-meets-indie-meets-progressive rock. Check out their 2 LPs Our Own Ghost City and We Fucking Quit, amazing stuff.

Started listening to this a month ago and can confirm this is the truth.

It gets better with every listen. I can tell this is a post-hardcore masterpiece.

This album single-handedly changed the type of music I’d come to enjoy as I grew up, but yeah it was a bit of a grower for me as well (as a teenager)

this is one of the first albums I kinda sought out on my own after liking "what it is to burn" (song) and I liked it a ton immediately, even though for some reason a 3-star middling iTunes review by some rando is burned into my brain from back then

i j heard this before i had a taste for its sound so i spent a lot of high school thinking it was "weird" outside of bitemarks. revisited some time last summer and fell in love
