I took it as a joke but she’s like five years younger than me an I’m young as fuck. So yeah I guess I agree

Hell, its music to play when ur on a date, simple. I've yet to meet a cool woman that wouldn't vibe out to some Eilish tunes. Like c'mon. Idk whats sus about that.

I mean, the back half of this record is just a really thoughtful, mature and engaging reflection on the aftermath and recovery from a toxic/abusive relationship. Speaking as someone who hasn't been all that enthralled with her previous work, this record showed a surprising amount of growth for Billie.

Yeah it was a huge leap from the first album which had cool moments but felt gimmicky.

She grew up fast.

I see why ppl would prefer the debut, but this album really does something special for me. Maybe I'm getting more plebeian but at this I could care less. Any time I find music with this much mainstream appeal that doesn't present itself as a vapid dumpster fire to my neurons, I tend to ride the euphoria.

Funny story, went to the hard rock cafe of my town the other day, and they had one of Venom's Cronos battered bass(es)? next to one of Kerry King's guitars. Meanwhile, on the TV they were playing this girl, Jay Z, Lady Gaga and some random K-Pop band.

Times, they change.

Didn't even know there was still hard rock cafes. The Danish one closed 10 years ago. Probably for the best.

There is a lot of growth in Billie's songwriting. The album is surprisingly sophisticated and elegant for someone as young as her. Highlights: Getting Older; Billie Bossa Nova, Goldwing; Haley's Comet; Your Power; Male Fantasy.
