after some time has passed, it's easy to fault this album for not being FMTS or TWoaF, but for me none of their other albums reach those heights anyway, and this is not that much worse than LES, and I still prefer it over all of their other records than those 3



it may be closer to a 3.5 than a 4 though

Gojira kinda has this vibe that makes their music infectious even if it doesnt live up to the standard set by previous releases. Its like when a maiden album drops. It probably wont blow me away but theres this energy that just cant be matched.
