It just adds something. I'm not typically a fan of post-hardcore screaming, but this has a nice atmosphere to boot.

The different vocal approaches work very well. I also do think it adds an interesting dynamic, as you have these lyrics written by a female from her perspective, but a male is doing about 50% of the vocal work. That cooperation is pretty cool to me.

Pretty much why I did my one listen, and gave my rating haha. I think it would become a 3 if I listened to it in full one more time, which I don't want to do. I still really dig that opening track, though.
