Deftones are at the point where no new album they release will ever top a long time fan's favorite album.



Their legacy is basically set, everything from here on out is icing on the cake as far as I'm concerned.







I completely disagree with that besides having a legacy as a goat cemented.

In terms of former Nick staff writers whose content sadly got removed from the site, I miss Nick Butler's slightly more than Greer's. At least Butler is still fairly active on RYM though.

that is true and supposedly we can't like music more than the music we heard at 14 years old but i'm not entirely convinced as 30 years old i still have optimism and desire to have my mind blown bigger than it's ever been and don't want to believe it's not possible with bands i've already loved for decades
