the choruses are just absolutely massive, All Hands, The Canary and From the Sky in particular. Every scenecore band tries to do the 'heavy verse/big melodic chorus' thing but they never sound as massive as they do here. Can't figure out if it's mostly due to the songwriting, the mix or Rody's vocals or all three.

I know he had to re-learn how to sing, and he does sound different, but certainly not whiny. How someone could sing with so much throat resonance and be perceived as sounding whiny is beyond me. Then again my gear isn't shit.
