On my second listen and it's mostly holding up! Honestly these guys should just do a full-on Walk The Moon-style synthpop album next, they'd be so good at it

@Steak that and The Spark are up next on my list. Then I'll get to Common Dread sometime soon too. I remember listening to Anything Can Happen and Sorry You're Not A Winner back in the day so if the rest of TTTS is like that I'll probably love it.

objectively probably the best album of the year so far. quality songs, production, diversity, range of appeal. definitely not my personal number 1 though.

Ultimately a tad too uneven to reach 4.0 territory but the highlights here are absolutely phenomenal, I wish more pop still sounded like this :/

as fantastic as this is, and as much as T.I.N.A might be their greatest track, I am not comfortable with this having a higher average score than The Mindsweep

I couldn't care less about sput averages tbh. If anything I want an album to have an average that fits my own rating (just being honest here. that's when an average satisfies me the most).

The Mindsweep is one of their best records man, it's very consistent

yea honestly the best range

mindsweep is very good but has a handful of songs that i always wanna skip over which is more than shikari albums usually have, and it's high points for me never really eclipse the best songs off any of their others, bar maybe one true color

I fully support bands that are not The 1975 making music that sounds like The 1975
