I prefer the previous one as well but this one just has immaculate flow and is very pleasing to listen to. I think the reason it seems a bit more predictable is because of its more accessible nature compared to TSU, being 20 minutes shorter and more prone to clean jazzy segments like botb although I don’t find it repetitive like he said. I’m glad it sets itself apart from TSU in that regard and it’s a pretty unique experience imo. Love all the pedal effects and tones they use especially on Bedlam Blues

Leave it to Progmaster to jump on someone else's description of why they do or don't like an album. Dude is a fucking tool lol

“ On repeated listens I just realized how predictable the writing was. “Woah crazy spazzy mathcore and now it’s jazzy and surfy sounding!!?” Every song.”

I feel like this is boiling it down to the bare minimum without much attention being called to the details of each track. I mean yea that’s basically what a lot of this album is but you can simplify nearly any album that way and make it sound boring

I'm not trolling you. I'm speaking the truth about you, dude. It's been your M.O. since your earlier days.

Sorry, Jester. Proggy needed to hear it. He never really listens to an album. He just uses an unpopular opinion to make himself feel and look more elite than everyone else, but never has a true reason to give you as to why his opinion differs. He'll just wait like a snake in the grass for someone to flesh out a real honest answer and he'll jump all over it. This spawns from his early days here where he consistently got ridiculed and called out.
