i feel that whatever these guys did was the literal opposite of killing their idols

I remember a time when I remember liking this, now all I can remember is something about a magnificent porpoise.

Album is probably quite good if I’m remembering correctly, but yeah my enjoyment peaked early and dropped off a tad post-early-ish plateau. Maybe.

this is falling off pretty hard for me. first few times i was really into it and it felt fresh. but the more i listen it's starting to feel contrived and too try hard. the zany parts georgie does just sound very insincere and put on - unlike other oddball vocalists like waits, bryne, etc.
