Album Rating: 4.0

If you're thinking about your rating on a rubric, then 5 is the perfect album and 1 is literally something that is irredeemable. Like, there is nothing about the album that ANYONE could consider well put together. When you rank something .5-1 it's almost because it is a fact that something is garbage and is a complete train wreck. Even the shit I hate I don't usually rate below a 2 because, on some level, it makes sense that someone else might like it and it's just not my thing. But to get a .5 would suggest that an album has nothing going for it. So you have to be trolling, which is fucking stupid on a site that was created to help people grasp a better understanding of the quality of music, and it doesn't help anyone when you shit post.

@Beyond: Or maybe just about everything about the album infuriates them in some way or another. For example, Enter Shikari's "A Flash Flood of Colour" is technically not "bad", but it's just so infuriating to my ears that I can't feel anything above a 1-1.5. So part of me really wants to sympathize even if I don't completely understand their train of thought.
