Hey Lender, I saw them at Graspop too! I really didn't like the show, the frontman acted really annoying ("I want all the women to crowdsurf, if I see a man cross the security I will kick him in the throat!") and the sound was fucking awful, only low end, which really didn't work with the downtuned guitars

"I saw them at Graspop too!"
I saw them at Graspop a few years ago, this band is TERRABAD live. Easily one of the worst bands I ever saw live.

They can't even play their songs properly live, the drummer was the only one who knew what he was doing.
Not to mention the vocalist blabbered to much between songs, about 30% of their show was some lecture about bullshit. And then they are surprised they can't get the crowd excited.
Directly after them While She Sleeps played a set, and the difference was night and day.

Hardly surprising. Band's been shit live since 2010.
I remember when they just released Hollow Crown and did a show to a small crowd with A Textbook Tragedy and Misery Signals. What an awesome show that was! There were like 200 people in the crowd and Sam was crowdsurfing.

Man I'd go for a textbook tragedy and mis sigs alone

A Textbook Tragedy were incredible. Miss that band.
Architects have steadily gone downhill. When they first came about they were so revolutionary. Nightmares and Ruin were phenomenal. I wasn't THAT big a fan of Hollow Crown (as I felt it signified a change in the band's direction and hence their downfall into mediocrity) but I still cite Ruin as one of the best UK core releases ever.

Saw them live for AOGHAU and it was phenomenal. The ranting between songs felt real and justified so soon after the death of their bandmate ... unfortunately, I felt like this album doubled down on the exact same sound and got stale quick

I love their first three albums. They all go hard. But then they released The Hey and Wow followed by Gaybreaker and I gave up all hope.

Hollow Crown is best for real, stop kidding yourself aha.
They've smashed it every time I've seen them, don't get where 'they're crap live' is coming from at all.

Uhh? They are one of the best live bands you can see. Sam always kills it. And I don't even like this band anymore.
Hollow Crown for life

It's fine if you don't like them but saying they suck live is dumb.

Its not dumb, legit top 5 worst live performance I've ever seen.
The drummer was the only one good one that day.
|
| |
Ima be real. I've seen some fairly recent live vids of Sam trying to scream and he sounds pretty assed out.
