this is like Mag North but refined. A Types is too whiney for me ngl, Forrest toned it down here. also I wasn't the biggest fan of those two cuz they changed too much for my liking.

Id say its a bit more tame than Magnetic North. Mag had much more going on in it plus Head General Hospital is among the best of hopesfall tracks.

the vocals don't sound as melodramatic here as they were on Mag to me. the production also improved greatly, the songs overall are beefier cuz of how well everything's been captured especially the drums.

My biggest issue with Jay vocally is I have no fucking idea what he’s saying unless I have a lyrics sheet in front of me which sucks because he writes pretty vivid lyrics.

he just strikes me as a primary schoolkid struck in wonderment and you have no idea what they're trying to convey in their stunted vocabulary and vast imagination but you go along with it
