I totally agree about the first and last tracks being the best shit here. I saw them live last night and they played Condemned, Blot and Millions which were all fucking great. I'm inclined to say that if they're still this fucking good at performances then they can just do whatever (aside from Coma).

Last track is my least favourite tbh but is still good.

Tracks 1-4 are amazing.

Don't think I'll be catching these guys in the future, seen em three times, last time was on the colors anniversary tour, that was closure for me.

I love Between the Buried and Me, but this album just seems like them treading water imo. Still solid, but nothing really new or incredibly interesting

Sounds nothing like Coma tbh.

Feels more like the best parts of Parallax I/II mixed with parts of TGM.

Some slight Coma vibes here and there but nothing major.

I love tommy but his vocals are weaker on Coma and this compared to Future Sequence etc.

Like I said, the band brought the goods when I saw them so if you have the chance this tour, I'd take it. It didn't win me over on Automata I (that task is left up to II) but it restored the integrity of the band for me

Oh and Tommy's harshes were way better live than on the record.

Wish they'd come to Vancouver...missed their last couple of tours.

Honestly now that I've taken a dive into the lyrics and spun this about 8 or 9 times, there's a lot to look forward to in each song. It's different than anything they've written (incl. Coma thank goodness) but doesn't feel compromised at all. Some of the best song-alongy bits they've written are on this album.

hard 4, will jam often

@Hawks: Honestly I was burnt out from music for the longest time and needed a break. Starting to find my groove again though .

This year has started off so strong for me that I haven't been able to jam this nearly as much as I want. Need to.

Eh nah Colors is dece, everything else I've heard blows hard though. Only jammed one song from this and it was awful.
