Why does this review have so many views compared to my others? It's lit my shortest and probs worst review
|

I just listened to "Shinjuku Masterlord" and oh my god this band is so bad lmao. I actually used to like "Goodbye To The Gallows" when it came out. This seriously is one of the worst bands I have ever heard though lmao

I hope you don't actually think that reviews on this site are anything more than discussion forums for the album. If this one has the most views, it's because it's the most popular album you've reviewed.

But that's the thing it's not the most popular album I've reviewed . That would be the Wiley or wolf Alice I would think
But then again, they are both UK acts who probs aren't as big as emmure in the USA and most of this site is American so that might explain it

The most frustrating thing about this band is that Josh Travis is a very talented guitarist and all around musician, and the last two bands he's been in (Emmure and Glass Cloud) feature some truly awful vocalists, with lyrics that aren't good enough to even qualify as pedestrian.
I really, really wish he and Jessie Freeland would reunite and get Danza back together. His (Freeeland) vocal style meshed so damn well with JT's playing style.
Anyway, the new Emmure song is... well, Emmure. I dig Josh's tone, but am disappointed that he hasn't been given the opportunity to really cut loose on these tracks. It's funny, if Frankie wasn't such a boring, generic, and completely unimaginative frontman, and they made an entire album that had the song structure of 'Russian Hotel Aftermath', Emmure would actually put out a solid album.
But hey, short, generic grooving, with Frankie's belligerent ass screaming stupid ass lyrics into the microphone.
Someone plz save Josh Travis from this mess.

A lot better than stuff I have heard before

Both vocalists from Emmure and Glass Cloud are good vocalists, not sure what you're smoking. The mix on this album makes my ears bleed though.

New song would be better as an instrumental.
I can't believe Josh Travis is wasting his talents on these scrubs.
Dude is a legit monster guitarist, and hasn't had a worthy vocalist to compliment him since Danza disbanded.

I like Jerry's vocals a lot, Glass Cloud slapped

To be a monster guitarist you have to know how to write well. He does not.
